After one year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the biggest surgery of her life-her kidney transplant. It was her own mother who donated her kidney. Angelica as well as her mom underwent successful kidney transplantation on September 13th 2013 in two incredible hospitals located right next to each other - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale's desire to become a superstar has never wavered.
