MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. In the year 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In 2017, he dropped ADN The First Long-Player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It peaked at number eight in the Top Latin Albums chart. Later in the year, he collaborated with Ozuna to make Vaina Loca and it was a Top Five hit. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina that year. He also sang an duet with TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the cult hit La Bachata was released. Turizo's brother and mother were musicians at the time he was born. In interviews, he has stated that music was a necessity. Growing up, he taught how to perform on the piano, saxophone as well as guitar. His initial goal was to be a veterinarian, His brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in singing classes with a Cuban teacher and the end result personally discovering his talent as a singer altered the trajectory of his life.
